Educational Psychology Support

These sessions include psychological support services to address educational challenges.

Chelsea is a Registered Psychologist with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists. She works with children, adolescents, and adults in Counselling Psychology and School Psychology (academic and behaviour assessment).

Chelsea brings nearly two decades of experience in the field of Education to her role as a psychologist. Her experience and training is vast and includes supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, oppositional defiance disorder (ODD), anxiety, depression, and specific learning disorders (SLD). Chelsea also works with those who have experienced self-harm, suicidal ideation, and relational bullying and conflict (both at school or in the workplace).

Chelsea uses empirically supported therapy practices in Counselling Psychology including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and a solution-focused approach to work with her clients, equipping them with the tools they need to heal, grow and thrive. She is also experienced in mindfulness and emotional regulation and uses a trauma-informed approach in her practice.

Chelsea has extensive experience working with culturally diverse populations. During her career in Education, Chelsea was a Treaty Catalyst Teacher, leading education around Indigenous history and Truth and Reconciliation. Chelsea has impassioned experience working with children and adolescents who identify as LGBTQ2S+, along with their family members. She also has additional training as a mental health provider for individuals living with Diabetes.

In addition to Counselling Psychology, Chelsea practices School Psychology, where she investigates academic and/or behaviour challenges through various assessment tools that screen for SLD and Intellectual Developmental Disorder, as well as behaviour disorders which include ADHD, anxiety and depression. Chelsea offers both Comprehensive Behaviour Assessments and Psycho-Educational Assessments.

Chelsea works with individuals who struggle in school academically, socially and/or behaviourally. Support includes implementing technology as an educational tool, behaviour plans, ADHD and ASD behaviour support through personalized social stories, social skills practice, remedial/homework support.

Jen Lekivetz is a Registered Psychologist (Provisional) with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists who works with children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and solution-focused interventions. She provides counselling and assessment services for concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, grief, interpersonal and behavioural challenges, with particular experience supporting individuals with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Learning Disorders. With a background of two decades in education as a classroom teacher, learning resource teacher, and intensive supports consultant, Jen brings a practical, strengths-based perspective to helping clients better understand challenges, build on strengths, and develop effective skills for meaningful change.
